Flashcards Set 17: Counting Objects in Irish

Use our flashcards below to count the number of balloons (or "balún" in Irish) while learning how to count objects in Irish!
^ When counting singular objects, "Aon balún" can mean either "One balloon" or "Any balloon". Therefore, the word "amháin" (which means "only") must be added for clarity.

For some of the flashcards, you may have noticed the addition of the letter "h" or "m" next to the noun. These are concepts called Eclipsis and Lenition, which we'll cover in a future post.
